Rasa Night is an artist with a spark of mischief and unmistakable charm. She paints, draws, writes, sings, composes, and improvises—creating with the same fearless curiosity that shapes her life. This website invites you into her vibrant universe: a place to find inspiration, joy, and perhaps even a deeper sense of meaning. Her paintings blend the bold spirit of Fauvism and Expressionism—with, as she likes to say, a nose piercing thrown in for good measure. Her illustrations are meticulously crafted worlds inhabited by delightfully eccentric characters. Her poetry for children dances between nonsense and surrealism, evoking the whimsical magic of Alice in Wonderland. Her poetry for adults is lyrical, musical, and entirely her own. And her songs? They are all about love—most often, the kind that leaves the heart beautifully broken.
Rasa adores mice, affectionately calls everyone her “joseph” and could paint Your portrait. She currently lives in Barcelona, where she is studying painting and dreams of singing in the city’s parks.
Once received a marriage proposal from an elderly gentleman.
My Story
The name “Night” was not chosen by chance. After spending many years in the darkness, her creativity eventually blossomed into “a wildly colorful” flower, leaving not a trace of black behind.
