The Mouse
You will never hear the mouse complain about the rain, because her sweater is waterproof.
You can sit at the same desk with the mouse, and she will always share her answers.
The mouse does not dye her whiskers. She does not tie ribbons. She only wears a grain amulet.
She believes in the Meadow Flower and never says Its name in vain.
The mouse cannot reach cherry blossoms, but she smells those that have fallen to the ground.
The mouse can sometimes take your breath away.
She never raises her voice, because she does not want to wake the sleeping butterflies.
She will never lecture you, because she lacks the proper education.
The mouse will brew tea without being asked. And she will never confuse sugar with salt.
The mouse will find a little stone in your shoe.
Sometimes the mouse sighs like a person remembering the blooming of a peony.
She will never laugh at you. Unless quietly, into her palm.
If the mouse has a husband, she does not torment him with questions. She only kisses him at sunrise and in the evening, when the lily of the valley closes.
If the mouse has no husband, she writes books that are not necessarily published.
The mouse will not go to war with you. But she will press cheese when you return.
The mouse will always hug you, even if you were a bear. The smallness of the mouse and the strength of the bear are sometimes deceptive. She will never betray your secrets, even if an owl tortures her.
