The Sea
The sea will answer all your questions – even those you did not dare to ask your mom.
In the sea, you can wash not only your face, but your heart as well.
It will forgive all your sins for three sunsets and one sunrise.
The sea will awaken your appetite if it has gone missing.
The sea is like a mom – you never know what to expect from it. At times it will embrace you like a lover, at times scold you like a child.
In its waters, you may drown – but be reborn in the cry of a seagull.
You may be born a second time, and a tenth. The sea is not afraid to give birth.
The sea poses even when angry. You may paint it as soon as inspiration strikes. Always paint it naked.
If a wave throws you down, it will cast you onto another shore. There, you may find a hidden treasure.
If you have a question, the waters will cast you a shell. Hold it to your ear. The sea speaks all languages, so do not excuse yourself by saying you did not understand.
You may make your greatest wish here, whales make them come true.
During a storm, you must not swim – but you may write a poem.
The sea is salty, because it begins in a tear.
